Description - Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire date.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
