Interventional Technologist (IR) – Advanced Modality Technician – Day Shift (10‑hour, 4 days a week) – BJC HealthCare, Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, Plaza West Tower, Saint Louis, MO. Position Overview This full‑time position involves performing diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. Candidates will work independently with a multidisciplinary team and support the radiology department’s workflow. Experience in interventional radiology is not required; comprehensive training is provided. Key Responsibilities Prep patients and equipment for procedures. Perform and assist in fluoroscopic imaging procedures. Image post‑processing and circulating procedures. Work independently with radiologists in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required. Schedule and Compensation Day shift: 10‑hour shifts, 4 days a week (7:30AM – 6:00PM). Weekend & call rotation (3–4 weekends per year) with paid on‑call and shift differentials. Advanced Modality Differential (5%) and premium pay for evening and weekend hours. Automatic sign‑on bonus (up to $5,000). Requirements Associate degree or higher in a related field. Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT (R)). No prior IR experience required; new graduates and students in clinicals welcomed. Valid CPR and intravenous therapy training preferred. Preferred Qualifications Less than 2 years of experience. Experience in CT, MR, or other advanced modalities. Familiarity with Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, EPIC PACS. Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance.
