Prep Cook - Marketplace Café - Michigan Avenue The ideal prep cook is motivated, results oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. Responsibilities Prepare food items consistently and adhere to all recipe standards Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup, and breakdown The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs Qualifications The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers Successfully thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule Food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality (preferred) Benefits Medical/Vision, Dental, Retirement, and Paid Time Away Life Insurance and Disability Merchandise Discount and EAP Resources Pay Range $20.95 - $21.80 Hourly This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
