Project Manager

Role Overview NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Estates and Property Department on a fixed‑term basis for one year, working up to 22 hours per week. Key Responsibilities The postholder will lead and coordinate the end‑to‑end procurement process for a range of capital and estates‑related projects. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, technical specialists, and external suppliers or contractors to ensure that all procurement activity is compliant, robust, and aligned with NHS Scotland policy and statutory requirements. The role requires a confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple specialist inputs, develop detailed specifications, and oversee the evaluation and award of contracts. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that procurement activity supports safe, efficient, and value‑driven outcomes for the organisation.
