About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a key player in the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, ensuring it aligns with the goals of growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability. This role is pivotal in a low-margin, high-volume, asset-intensive distribution environment with significant regulatory oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial activities, including finance, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management, and financial planning, and will serve as a strategic advisor to the COO and ownership. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include leading financial planning and analysis, overseeing accounting, reporting, and controls, and managing cash flow, treasury, and capital. The role also involves inventory control, risk management, and compliance, as well as M&A, growth, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred, and decades of experience in progressive financial leadership, particularly in inventory-driven, cash flow management, and thin-margin operations. Experience with large ERP systems and a strong understanding of AI applications in accounting and finance are also desirable. The CFO will be expected to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, and to foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
