Project Manager – Machine Shop

Manpower Direct Hire is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Telford, PA . This is an excellent opportunity for a proven project management professional with experience leading complex initiatives within the manufacturing aviation and aerospace industries.
In this highly visible role, you will oversee large-scale projects from concept through completion while collaborating department leads, materials, and communicate with key stakeholders across multiple business functions to ensure successful project execution.
What You'll Do
- Lead large-scale aviation and aerospace projects from planning through completion
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and executive leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, aviation safety requirements, and industry standards
- Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycles
- Manage vendor relationships and project deliverables
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines and operational objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and project efficiency
- 8+ years of project or program management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects within aviation, aerospace, or MRO environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and project risks
- Proven ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
