Are you a detail-oriented Tax Manager with a passion for working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates ? Our growing firm is looking for a dynamic professional to lead complex tax engagements and mentor a strong team—all while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid schedule based in Tacoma, WA .
Compensation
This range is provided by Talent Edge Recruiting. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range : $130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Experience: 3–5 years in tax management
Salary: $130K-$160K per year, potential bonus, generous benefits plan & PTO, and more!
What You’ll Do
- Review and prepare complex individual, trust, estate , and business tax returns
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to HNW clients and families
- Lead and mentor a team of senior and staff accountants
- Research and resolve advanced tax issues , including multi-state filings
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations
- Collaborate on client relationship management and act as a trusted advisor
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, etc.
- Active CPA license
- 3–5 years of experience in tax management
- Strong background in 1040s, trusts, and estate returns
- Business return experience (1065, 1120S ) is a plus
- Proven ability to research complex tax issues and communicate solutions clearly
- Experience with multi-state taxation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for client service and mentoring
- CCH Suite (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Firm)
- Access Tax
- Microsoft Excel
