Senior Account Executive/Associate Sales Director (San Diego/OC)

The client is seeking a Senior Account Executive/Associate Sales Director to support digital media and ad tech sales in the San Diego/OC area. The role is focused on advancing media sales by building strong relationships with media agencies, brands, and advertisers, and by driving new business while growing existing partnerships. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media and advertising technology and enjoys meeting and engaging new people. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a sales pipeline and prospect database, breaking new business, and expanding advertiser partnerships. This position will work closely with a sales development team to engage prospects and generate meetings, and collaborate with media strategy and client services teams on campaign planning and execution. The role also contributes to marketing strategies and product development, and involves attending conferences and industry events; it may include mentoring new hires and junior team members. The client is looking for someone with at least 5+ years of experience and a proven track record in digital media sales, including breaking new business and exceeding quotas.
