Associate Scientist, Physical Properties

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Associate Scientist to support R&D operations in physical properties testing for vision care products. The role involves executing test methods, managing equipment qualification, analyzing data trends, and collaborating with project teams in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing procedures for clinical samples, stability protocols, and equipment qualification
• Track and trend method performance data to identify improvement opportunities
• Participate in multi-departmental meetings representing the physical properties team
• Support method development and validation activities with senior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
• 0-3 years experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or testing environments
• Knowledge of ISO 18369, ICH Q2, and FDA regulatory requirements
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Data organization and analysis capability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and methods concurrently
