Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,897–$1,932 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts; days/evenings/nights; weekends, on‑call, and holidays per unit need Start date: 07/06/2026 Setting: hospital-based long-term care with wound care Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a geriatric population across approximately 20 residents per RN Conduct assessments, document findings, and implement the nursing plan of care Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs (typical ratios around 8–10 LPNs and 4–6 CNAs on various units) Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects, ensuring accuracy and safety Manage wound care, dressings, and ongoing assessments; coordinate with the care team Maintain accurate records, ensure infection control, and communicate with families and team members as appropriate Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and ensure compliance with policy; no acute care needs are required in this setting Apply telemetry monitoring when indicated and maintain focus on geriatric patient needs and safety Requirements Active New York RN license Two years of experience in long‑term care BLS certification from American Heart Association Ability to work in a geriatric long‑term care setting with wound care duties and no trachs Strong communication and delegation skills to supervise LPNs and CNAs Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Nationwide assignments available Extension opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
