Proactively drive efforts to continually improve product cost, product quality, product delivery, workplace safety, employee training, employee engagement, employee recognition, production capacity, staffing and operating efficiency. Develop and maintain an organization that supports the strategic direction of the Company, oversees the activities to meet the targets and objectives for quality, delivery, and cost. In addition, provides leadership direction to develop and implement plans to meet plant targets and objectives.THE DETAILS:Operations Management Lead safety, security, compliance, and operational excellence through audits, corrective actions, and countermeasuresImprove cost, quality, delivery, production flow, productivity, and KPI performanceLead, coach, train, develop, and support staff, including wage, salary, training, and benefit programsSupport innovation, continuous improvement, creativity, and effective change managementManage cycle counting, inventory accuracy, shipping, and receivingOperations Planning Champion customer order fulfillment by aligning Planning, Procurement, Prescott, Sales, and Customer/Tech ServicesCoordinate efficient plant production, resource planning, expenses, and capital budget needsSupport NPI, SKU rationalization, product rollouts, production start-ups, efficiency, and inventory turnsTrack key manufacturing objectives, indicators, quality initiatives, and customer complaint follow-upDevelop, monitor, and present operating and capital budgets, projections, and equipment plans to support productivity and production goalsLeadership & SupportPlan long-range plant direction, develop the future production organization, and build cohesive teamsCommunicate clearly, manage change and competing demands, and maintain high performanceRecruit, hire, onboard, develop, support, and motivate employees to improve resultsLead safety, security, and projects while ensuring effective communication across all levelsImprove processes, systems, quality assurance, and performance programs to support continuous improvementEstablishes and maintains collaborative relationships at all levels of the organizationCommunication and DocumentationCommunicate with direct reports and all Prescott based Team Members Company Communications, strategic plans, manufacturing plans, etc.Clarify plans, goals, and objectives through regular communicationsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSBachelor of Science degree from accredited four-year university/college in Engineering, Business, or similar course of study6 - 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment6 - 8 years’ experience in a leadership positionAble to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality mannerSolve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisionsEffective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical termsCreative thinkerCollaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersedSet a good example of personal integrityProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)Availability:Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ in durationAt Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $120,000 to $147,000 + Bonus. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
