Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

We are currently accepting applications for both 13-week and 26-week contracts. Travelers can request up to two major holidays off, with only one holiday shift required from Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients experiencing labor and preterm labor.
• Utilize your skills in circulating, post-operative, pre-operative, and scrubbing functions.
• Manage low-risk antepartum and low-risk labor and delivery scenarios.
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries.
• Perform various special procedures, including blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, and management of pumps (epidural, PCA, syringe, etc.).
• Assist in couplet care and newborn transition nursery responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).

Staffing Information:

• Staffing ratio: 1:1-3
• Floating may be required to Post-Partum and possibly Labor and Delivery.
