Hours are Friday-Sunday, 5am-5:30pm.What You'll DoAs the Weekend Shift Production Supervisor, you'll lead our Fabrication, Weld & Grind operations while partnering closely with supervisors across all shifts to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation.You'll be responsible for developing teammates, improving processes, meeting production goals, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.Safety LeadershipChampion a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to safe work practices.Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and/or Safety Committee.Develop and improve standardized work that enhances workplace safety.Develop People & Build TeamsLead, coach, and develop production teammates to achieve individual and team success.Foster an environment built on accountability, respect, and continuous learning.Train and enforce company policies and standardized work.Motivate employees while helping remove obstacles to success.Serve as the primary trainer for Level 4 Board development.Partner with employees to solve problems and continuously improve processes.Deliver QualityEnsure products consistently meet Life Fitness / Hammer Strength quality standards.Verify product conformance through inspections and process verification.Drive standardized work that improves product quality and consistency.Work proactively to identify and resolve quality concerns before they impact the customer.Drive Operational ExcellenceCoordinate production schedules and collaborate with supervisors across multiple shifts.Plan, requisition, and verify materials needed to support production.Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and schedule adherence.Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve performance.Develop and maintain standardized production methods that improve efficiency and reduce cost.Roll Up Your SleevesSupport the production team by performing production activities when needed.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience2-5 years of welding and/or grinding experienceStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and work ordersExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferredAbility to prioritize work, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlinesAt Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we think customer first, play as one team, and raise the bar on fitness innovation—in the gym and in every corner of our facilities.
