Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures in the operating room, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques and protocols.
• Manage patient care in a level 2 trauma setting, floating as required to other specialties.
• Facilitate surgical scrub and circulation duties, while monitoring patient conditions during surgery.
• Coordinate with surgical team members and facilitate effective communication to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain patient records using the Epic charting system and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Participate in on-call rotations as per facility requirements, handling emergencies efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN required.
• Experience with a range of procedures including Whipple, Esophagectomy, and Mastectomy is mandatory.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Prior experience in trauma settings, with level 2 trauma experience required and level 1 preferred.
• Proficiency in using the DaVinci surgical system is highly preferred.
• Must be 100% nicotine-free and able to work in a nicotine-free facility.
