Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from initiation through to completion. This role will be responsible for establishing clear objectives, developing robust delivery plans, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and to agreed quality standards. You will work across multiple teams and stakeholder groups, providing direction, resolving issues and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include defining project governance, milestones, dependencies, risks and success measures; coordinating internal teams, suppliers, contractors and external partners; and monitoring progress through regular reporting and performance reviews. You will identify and mitigate risks, manage change control, oversee procurement and commercial activities, and ensure that decisions are supported by accurate analysis. The role will also involve presenting updates to senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and steering meetings, maintaining clear project documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regulations and industry standards.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing complex projects in a structured environment, with a strong record of delivering measurable outcomes. A formal qualification in project management, such as PRINCE2, APM or PMP, is desirable, together with experience of financial management, risk assessment, contract oversight and stakeholder engagement. You will be a confident communicator and collaborative leader who can influence at all levels, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects involving organisational change, technology, infrastructure or business transformation would be advantageous.
