Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid At least 2 days onsite) Duration: Long Term Responsibilities Translate business needs into requirements for a technical audience, including creating user stories, synthesizing use cases, defining acceptance criteria, and documenting feature overviews Work within a cross-functional team to ensure the solution meets business and customer needs. Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product. Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and supporting documentation. Support project management activities including planning, testing, and implementation. Analyze data to support decision-making and strategic planning. Participate in and support interactions with clients to collect business requirements and drive product adoption. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into detailed functional and technical designs. Serve as a point of contact for product feature clarification and internal consulting. Support stakeholders in defining business objectives and value to effectively prioritize the product backlog. Mandatory Skills / Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on legacy replacement systems and workflow development projects Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding and addressing customer needs. Ability to facilitate JAD sessions and one-on-one meetings with User(s), work independently on strategic issues with stakeholders, effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. Ability to define test scenarios and conditions, create test plans and facilitate testing according to plan in support of UAT.
