Service Engineer II IS - Hybrid

Service Engineer II – Hybrid Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large‑scale, computer‑based services offered to IS, non‑IS and clinical caregivers. The role focuses on device management. Providence offers hybrid work for candidates residing within a daily commuting radius—up to 65 miles—from the following primary office locations: Redmond, WA Renton, WA Seattle, WA Portland, OR Irvine, CA Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience inclusive of a HS Diploma/GED and an additional 4 years of related experience. 2 years of related experience; 2–5 years preferred. Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Experience with n‑tier solutions. Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Healthcare environment. 4 or more years of experience in Mobile Device Management. Proven experience administering MDM solutions with a focus on Apple devices (iPhone/iPad). Strong understanding of iOS/iPadOS configuration, security, and enterprise features; experience with device provisioning, enrollment, and lifecycle management; understanding of network requirements for device usage. Experience working with cellular vendors to support cellular devices (iPhones/iPads/non‑smart phones/mobile hotspots). Working knowledge of application deployment and mobile security controls. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Experience in report writing and dashboard creation, preferably in PowerBI. Experience managing and supporting telecom billing, specifically for mobile network providers (Verizon/FirstNet). Experience with database management and SQL.
