Location: Painesville, OH Pay rate: $25-27 per hour

What You'll Bring:

• Associate degree in Chemistry or at least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques such as physical property testing, wet chemistry, or advanced instrumental methods (GC, LC, ICP, NMR).
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, laboratory data systems, SAP, and LIMS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a focus on producing high-quality, reliable data.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make independent decisions swiftly.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Professional interaction with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with LIMS and SAP QM modules.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/14001 standards and internal auditing.
• Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and Statistical Quality Control methodologies.
• Familiarity with proper lab notebook documentation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working in environments requiring strict safety and quality standards.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated industrial chemical manufacturing laboratory experience.
• Advanced instrument handling with techniques like GC, LC, ICP, and NMR.
• Experience with ISO standard environments and internal audits.

• Ability to work in a dynamic lab and manufacturing environment with proper PPE.
• Willingness to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and laboratory integrity.
• Flexibility to occasionally lift or move materials as needed.
