Primary Duties and Responsibilities Managing budgets associated with the Department of Agriculture & Food Science Ensuring proper purchasing procedures are followed and keep accurate, up-to-date records of accounts Serve as a point of contact for potential students, current students, faculty/staff, and alumni for the department Responsible for general administrative duties that include word processing, spreadsheets, filing, generating reports, supervising office student workers, managing calendars, and oversight of ordering and stocking office supplies Assist in organizing department events, departmental recruiting, and developing course schedules Requirements Bachelor's Degree Minimum 2 years of administrative experience Additional Information Hourly Rate: $20.51-22.56 Kentucky state law requires all public institutions of postsecondary education to conduct pre-employment criminal background checks to determine suitability for employment.
