What You ll Do:

As our Wound Care Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including ulcers, surgical and traumatic wounds, and skin injuries. You will implement advanced wound management techniques such as bioengineered skin, debridement, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and skin grafting. Educating patients and their support systems on wound care and prevention will be a key aspect of your role, along with supervising hyperbaric oxygen treatments and ensuring comprehensive patient-centered care.


Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state licensure in Ohio
• Proven experience in wound care management
• Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound Care Certification Board credential)
• Experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy procedures
• Prior work in hospital or outpatient wound clinics
• Knowledge of skin grafting and advanced wound treatment modalities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years experience in wound care or related specialty
• Experience supervising hyperbaric oxygen treatments preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel to outpatient clinic locations as needed
• Temporary privileging or full licensure in Ohio
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
