Hydraulic Lead Pay Rate and Hours: 

• $34/hr  
• Monday to Friday 5:45am-4:15pm.

Hydraulic Lead Job Description: 

• Hydraulic Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, modifying, and integrating hydraulic components and systems within custom manufacturing projects. 
• This position requires hands-on hydraulic assembly experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to think critically, adapt to changing project needs, and develop practical solutions to assembly challenges. 
• The ideal candidate enjoys figuring things out, understands how individual components contribute to the overall functionality of the finished product, and can work independently with or without detailed blueprints or instructions. 
• Success in this role requires creativity, initiative, resourcefulness, and sound judgment to independently resolve assembly challenges while recognizing when more complex technical issues, design concerns, or safety-related matters require escalation to the Lead or Production Manager.

Hydraulic Lead Skills: 

• Assembled, installed, and modified hydraulic systems, including hoses, tubing, valves, cylinders, pumps, and fittings.
• Read hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to complete custom manufacturing projects.
• Fabricated, routed, and installed hydraulic components while ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
• Troubleshot and resolved assembly, routing, and installation issues while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Performed inspections, leak checks, testing, and adjustments to verify system performance.
• Collaborated with engineering, production, and management teams to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Hydraulic Lead Qualificatons:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Previous hands-on hydraulic assembly and installation experience required, preferably in custom manufacturing, industrial equipment, oilfield equipment, or a related environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with hydraulic and mechanical components, tools, and equipment required.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic assembly challenges, adapt to changing project requirements, and recognize when more complex technical issues require assistance or escalation.
• Experience working on custom hydraulic builds, equipment modifications, or hydraulic rework preferred.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics and blueprints and apply practical knowledge when detailed instructions are limited.
• Vocational or technical training in hydraulics, fluid power systems, industrial mechanics, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative while recognizing the limits of assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to see the bigger picture, anticipate potential challenges, and contribute ideas that improve the finished product.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage assigned tasks, adjust priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Professionalism, flexibility, creativity, and a team-oriented approach.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
• Ability to follow all company safety policies, procedures, and appropriate dress code requirements.
