The Clinical Assistant is an expanded role for the Certified Nursing Assistant and functions as a member of the nursing staff, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse that focuses on performing functional tasks that maintain the orderliness of the nursing unit and contributes to the effective overall functioning of the clinical area. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course. Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: 6 months as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care giver. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
