The facility operates without maternal-fetal medicine specialists on site but provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage through experienced hospitalists and support staff.

Primary responsibilities include managing approximately 200 hospital deliveries per year, with hospitalists typically handling 1-4 deliveries and seeing 13 or more patient encounters per day. The position requires providing GYN coverage including OB triage, unassigned GYN emergencies, and deliveries during 24-hour call periods. Board-eligible candidates are accepted for this Level 1 NICU facility with no MFM on site.
