About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe orthopedic surgery nurse practitioner will provide PRN day shift coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight call PRN and 24-hour weekend call, across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings.. Inpatient responsibilities include rounding on post-operative patients, managing inpatient and emergency department consults, and providing OR coverage. Clinical responsibilities encompass surgical and trauma/orthopedic call, with EPIC EMR utilized for all hospital-based clinical documentation.
