Senior Structural Engineer

LHH is partnering with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to identify a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Florida team. This role will serve as a technical and project leader, overseeing structural design efforts and coordinating with internal disciplines across a variety of commercial building projects. The individual will manage projects from concept through construction while supervising staff, mentoring developing engineers, and supporting successful project delivery. Responsibilities Lead structural engineering and design efforts for building projects Manage projects of varying sizes and complexities from concept through construction Supervise and mentor engineering staff in technical development and career growth Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other internal disciplines to deliver cohesive, constructible designs Interface with clients, contractors, and project stakeholdersManage project scope, schedules, and deliverables Provide technical leadership and support quality project outcomes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license 10+ years of experience in an architectural or engineering environment Demonstrated success managing structural projects and leading teams Strong technical expertise in structural engineering for building projects Ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday; hybrid schedule with flexible work hours Location Florida, Relocation assistance is available.
