You will work closely with a vibrant team of healthcare professionals, which may include occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to enhancing patient recovery. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments and diagnoses, ensuring all interventions align with best practices in physical therapy. Implement effective therapeutic strategies that utilize comprehensive clinical knowledge in various techniques, including but not limited to trigger point therapy. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, clinical services, billing processes, and communication with other healthcare professionals. Engage in ongoing communication with clients, their families, and team members to foster a collaborative approach to rehabilitation and recovery. Adhere rigorously to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA requirements and billing guidelines, to ensure compliance and safeguard patient information. Patient Population / Client Focus In this position, you will work with a diverse patient population, including both adult and pediatric clients requiring rehabilitation services due to various physical conditions, injuries, and post-operative care. Your expertise will guide them along their recovery journey, providing support and motivation as they strive to regain their functional capabilities. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with preference given to candidates possessing a Master’s degree or Doctorate in the field. A valid Florida Physical Therapist License is mandatory to practice in our facility. Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat a range of physical conditions. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and other relevant rehabilitation methodologies. Preferred Experience Minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting. Experience working specifically with pediatric patients will be highly regarded as part of our comprehensive service offering. Strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
