Position Highlights

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients encompassing pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standardized tools and observation strategies.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that tackle both immediate goals and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge cohesive care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families to foster continued progress beyond clinical encounters.
• Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless care experience throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation in accordance with state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Stay informed on advancements in the field via ongoing education and peer networking.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licenses and Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
