• Medical Lead / Leadership Role: We are in search of an experienced veterinarian eager to take on a Medical Lead (Lead DVM) position. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership duties, such as mentoring associate veterinarians, collaborating with hospital leadership, supporting medical protocols, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture. Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not mandatory for the right candidate who possesses strong communication skills and a desire to lead by example.

Medical Lead Role Overview

This position is primarily clinical, with focused leadership responsibilities aimed at enhancing medical quality, standards, and direction for the hospital.

Clinical Responsibilities (80–90%)

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnostics, treatment options, and outcomes.
• Work closely with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Lead by example on the floor, demonstrating excellent medical practices, professionalism, and client communication.

Medical Lead Responsibilities (10–20%)

• Act as the medical leader for the hospital, guiding clinical standards, protocols, and quality-of-care initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in medical decision-making and case management across the veterinary team.
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases, protocol inquiries, and medical direction.
