About the role We are seeking a full-time Field Supervisor to join our high‑growth startup. The Field Supervisor assists the Operations Manager with day‑to‑day operations and ensures our patients have the best experience possible. Must live within 20‑30 miles of Boston, MA. Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of mobile phlebotomists across multi‑state markets. Manage logistics, including supply chain, distribution, appointment assignment, and routing for maximum efficiency. Assess work performance and conduct compliance, quality, and safety appointment reviews; report findings. Maintain accurate record‑keeping and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Act as phlebotomy subject matter expert, providing guidance on techniques and equipment troubleshooting. Handle employee grievances and customer service escalations, turning challenges into positive outcomes. Administer disciplinary action when appropriate. Interview, hire, and onboard new mobile phlebotomists. Conduct new‑hire and annual competency assessments. Ensure accurate order and patient appointment record‑keeping. Use data‑driven approach to review schedules, manage budgets, and approve expenses. Plan and adjust daily/weekly schedules; organize and assign work. Assist with day‑to‑day customer service and manager‑level escalations via calls, emails, and other platforms. Review and approve team timecards and expenses. Provide coverage and travel for mobile phlebotomy duties as needed. Qualifications At least 2 years of management experience in a leadership role. In‑depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques; experience with centrifuges a plus. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong public speaking and business acumen. Disciplined worker capable of independent or team work. Reliable transportation and clean driving record. Competency with Google applications and willingness to embrace new technologies. Ability to handle ambiguity without defined processes.
