X-Ray Technologist
Job Overview
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiological equipment. They ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray examinations as per physician requests.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification and licensure in radiologic technology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to imaging.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
Shift Details
This position requires a night shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts, running from 20:30 to 07:00. The workweek will alternate between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
