X-Ray Tech
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Tech to join our dynamic radiology team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray procedures and operate radiographic equipment effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assist and communicate with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Review and verify physician orders to ensure accurate imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures for imaging services.
Schedule
This position offers an alternating weekly schedule consisting of:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
The shift is a night schedule of 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00.
Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current registration with the appropriate certifying body (e.g., ARRT).
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
