Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A per diem pharmacist position is available in Fort Bridger, WY, ideal for candidates with retail pharmacy experience seeking flexible work days from October 21 to 24. This role supports a busy retail environment, handling an average of 140-150 prescriptions daily and working alongside multiple pharmacy technician support staff.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (within specified dates)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
- Utilize Pioneer RX system for order entry and prescription management
- Manage daily prescription volume consistent with retail standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Wyoming pharmacy license is mandatory
- Proven retail pharmacy experience
- Proficient in using prescription management systems, especially Pioneer RX
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
