Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist position in a retail pharmacy setting located in Mountain View, Wyoming. The role offers a unique chance to contribute to a well-supported pharmacy team with multiple pharmacy technician staff and a steady prescription volume averaging 140-150 scripts per day. The schedule during the assignment will be primarily daytime hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, with a shorter shift on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, specifically from October 21 to October 24.
Responsibilities include accurate prescription order entry utilizing Pioneer RX, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and providing excellent customer service to patients. The pharmacist will collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to maintain smooth and efficient pharmacy operations in a retail environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Wyoming pharmacy license is mandatory
- Proven retail pharmacy experience is essential
- Proficiency with Pioneer RX or familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
