Banquet Server – Mountain CreekLocation: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Banquet ManagerSNOW Partners Mission Statement:“To Enhance the Lives of our Team, Guests and Partners by Building Lasting Connections.”About Mountain Creek:Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.How the Banquet Server works with the Team:Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up for an event, providing food service and attending to the needs of guests. The ideal candidate should have experience as a server and enjoy working with large groups.Team Member Responsibilities:Greet and thank each guest in an enthusiastic, professional & timely mannerServe the guests’ selections in a manner that is consistent with Mountain Creek‘s policies and proceduresMaintain a clean work areaAbility to fully setup and break down all functionsProperly store, inventory, and handle all banquet equipment such as plates, utensils, and propsProvide a positive employee experience, earn customer loyalty, mutual respect and continuously striving to be the bestPerform other duties as assigned by your ManagerProvide our guests with the information necessary to make a dining or drinking choice by performing a menu tourBe knowledgeable about the techniques used to prepare our food and drink productsServe to our guests our food products following all safety proceduresComplete daily opening and closing checklistsAbility to follow proper dining etiquette in terms of table setting, table service and table bussingPresent a well-groomed image and wear the appropriate uniform and name tag at all times when on dutyTeam Member Qualifications:Excellent communication skillsWillingness to work as part of a teamMust be 18 years of age or olderPrevious banquet or serving experience a plusProfessional, mature, and friendly demeanorMust have knowledge of basic cleanliness and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, be on feet for extended hours and carry large food trays #J-18808-Ljbffr
