Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry care at a healthcare facility in Athens, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit with a focus on patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours each shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association (AHA) certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 2 years of relevant clinical experience, experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system, and COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit, and charting experience using Epic.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit with 19 beds, including 18 private rooms and one semi-private room, serving young adults through geriatrics with a broad range of care needs. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and radiology.
