Job Summary And Qualifications Excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving skills Assist in maintaining inventory levels, month end, purchasing of food supplies, menu development, and coordination of large catered events. Maintains all kitchen equipment and work area to state sanitary standards. Communicate and coordinate with third party vendors and external suppliers to ensure the inventory is stocked Organize a timeline for the event that is smooth and efficient Safely operate all kitchen kitchen equipment. Assists in recipe development Perform other duties as assigned. What qualifications you will need: Some college or technical training preferred 3-5 years' experience in a high-volume fine dining restaurant, hotel, country club, or equivalent required. Food Handler certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Manage inventory of food and supplies to ensure that all the needs will be met for the event Math, reasoning, and organizational skills Good communication and computer skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings Ability to interpret recipes. Ability to safely operate all kitchen equipment Intermediate to advanced knife handling skills.
