Certs required: ACLS, BLS
2 years experience required
ACU: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU. EPIC EMR Experience Required.
"TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK ON OUR TELEMETRY/MED SURG UNIT.
