We’re seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians who want steady, year-round work and the chance to make a real impact for residents. Pay & Perks $24–$27 per hour Pay depends on your experience, technical skills, and certifications. If you know apartment maintenance, can troubleshoot issues fast, or have EPA/HVAC certification, you’ll be considered for the higher end of the range. What You’ll Tackle Turn apartments and get vacant units ready for new residents Clean, remove debris, and patch/paint walls during make-readies Handle basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and HVAC repairs Respond to resident service requests—quickly and professionally Inspect units, complete checklists, and prep for agency inspections Stay on top of routine and preventative maintenance throughout multiple properties Keep grounds, common areas, and curb appeal in top shape Use a smartphone app to track work orders and document repairs Pitch in at other Rochester communities as needed Help with snow removal and seasonal needs Respond to after-hours emergencies as required What You’ll Need At least one year of hands-on maintenance experience Experience in apartment, building, hotel, or facilities maintenance Working knowledge of turns, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic HVAC Ability to spot maintenance problems and know what to do next Basic computer and smartphone skills Strong organization, time management, and communication Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance Able to lift 50 pounds and work inside/outside in all weatherFlexibility for after-hours emergencies and travel between sites Bonus Points For Direct apartment or multi-site maintenance experience EPA/HVAC or OSHA certification On-call rotation experience Hospitality/hotel maintenance background Customer service skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) What’s in It for You?
