Responsibilities Assist dentists, orthodontists, and hygienists during treatments by handling tools and materials Provide comfort to patients before, during, and after treatments Measure and record vital indicators such as pulse and blood pressure Check patients in, lead them to exam rooms, and assist them in settling in for visits Educate patients about post‑procedure care and appropriate oral hygiene Expose and process X‑rays under the dentist’s supervision Clean, prepare, and sterilize treatment rooms and equipment per OSHA, CDC, EPA, and OSAP guidelines Perform allowed chairside procedures (e.g., scanning impressions, X‑rays, placing bands) Set up trays for bonding and debond procedures Accurately complete all necessary clinical charting of patients’ status, visits, hygiene, and next visits Perform lab work as needed for retainers and appliances Qualifications Must be available to work full‑time and for Saturday shifts 2‑3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (highly desirable) DA/RDA certification or license (highly desirable) Bi‑lingual English/Spanish (highly desirable) Ability to commute to or relocate to Bronx, NY 10458 (preferred) Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Schedule 8‑hour shift Monday through Saturday Work Location In person Bronx, NY 10458 #J-18808-Ljbffr
