The Client is seeking an Accountant I to support the Financial Payments Section. This position will assist with invoice auditing and processing, accounting-related activities, document preparation, and data compilation for various business analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and process invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Review financial documents and supporting information for completeness and accuracy.

• Assemble documents and data for various job-related analyses.

• Prepare documents and information for entry into the Client Service System .

• Perform basic accounting and financial administrative activities.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs to complete daily tasks.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a professional business team.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

• Minimum 2 years of professional business office experience .

• Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office and computer applications .

• Minimum 1 year of basic accounting experience .

• Minimum 1 year of experience auditing and processing invoices .

• Ability to speak and understand English.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong job tenure/stable employment history is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in accounting, financial administration, or invoice processing.

• Experience reviewing financial documents for accuracy.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications .

• Strong data entry, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential and financial information professionally.

The ideal candidate will have a stable employment history, professional business office experience, basic accounting knowledge, and hands-on experience auditing and processing invoices. Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail are essential.
