Assistant Planner

Portfolio Strategy & Management teams are responsible for translating clinical development strategies into executable project plans, ensuring programs remain aligned with key development milestones, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities. Job Description: Our client, AbbVie, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Planner to provide support within its Portfolio Strategy & Management organization. This consultant will partner with clinical planners to translate Clinical Development Plans into executable project schedules within AbbVie's customized Planisware (AMP) platform. This is a highly tactical planning role focused on project execution, timeline management, and Responsibilities Translate Clinical Development Plans into detailed project schedules using Planisware (AMP). Build and maintain project timelines, milestone plans, and critical path schedules to support drug Support Project Managers with project plan maintenance and information reporting. Provide data entry for change requests and assist planning teams with schedule maintenance and Utilize QC reports to ensure proper input of project information and accuracy of data. Participate in planning meetings to gather timeline updates and project information. Update project schedules based on cross-functional discussions and evolving development plans. Ensure project timelines accurately reflect clinical development activities across Phase I–III program. Collaborate closely with portfolio planners while learning AbbVie's internal planning processes. Requirements Experience supporting pharmaceutical clinical development programs. Understanding of clinical development lifecycle, including Phase I, II, and III studies. Strong project planning and scheduling experience. Ability to interpret clinical development timelines and convert them into detailed project schedules. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Education/Certification(s)/License(s) Bachelors degree required, preferably in a technical, scientific or project management related discipline. 2+ years professional work experience, preferably in project management, system based processes, or the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, and/or 6+ months working in the planner role. Must be self-directed and work well in a team environment, be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet commitments, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be process-oriented, convert goals to tasks and define estimates on time and requirements to achieve goal objectives, and demonstrate initiative. #J-18808-Ljbffr
