Senior Software Engineer, Core Experience

Responsibilities
- Develop highly scalable software solutions using software engineering and computer science principles.
- Analyze and optimize expensive SQL queries.
- Build data-driven features that adapt to customer shopping behavior.
- Lead strategic planning and execution of development projects from inception through deployment and maintenance.
- Implement shopping experiences across user interfaces and underlying web and mobile systems.
- Perform testing, performance analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and design resolution for problematic programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems.
- At least 5 years of experience with API query technologies such as GraphQL.
- At least 2 years of experience with machine learning model development and iteration.
- At least 2 years of experience with client/server architectures and application architectures.
- At least 2 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams.
