Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac PCU (N3 PCU) Southwest Florida

COMPENSATION:  $30.27 $40.86 / hour  (minimum to midpoint pay rate)

Role:

• Department: N3 PCU (Cardiac PCU)
• Work Type: Full Time
• Shift: Days 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM  (12-hour shifts)
• Core Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation). Performs responsibilities across five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving, and differentiation of urgency in the role of clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership, and professional development. Directs and coordinates nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards (ANA), the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and other regulatory standards. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective care delivery and desired patient outcomes. Incorporates age and cultural diversity into patient care. Contributes to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:  Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred
• Experience:  Experience required; competency assessment required. Experience requirements may vary by department (see nursing addendums)
• Certifications:  AHA Healthcare Provider BLS  (current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date; may vary by department)
• License:  Currently licensed in the State of Florida
• Other:  Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required
