Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in executive compensation and employee benefits law, focusing on equity plans, executive retention packages, and compensation arrangements in mergers and acquisitions, particularly private equity transactions. Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence. Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing support and addressing concerns promptly. Collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities, including client calls and meetings. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities. Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work. Requirements 3 years of corporate experience. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands. JD degree from an accredited law school. Certification Admitted to practice in the state of Texas. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and good business judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
