Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Fusion Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain. This contractor will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions across the end-to-end P2P lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of Oracle ERP/Cloud experience , including substantial hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and Financials , and will combine deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of procurement and accounts payable business processes. The SME will partner with functional leads, business stakeholders, architects, developers, and integration teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable and supportable Oracle Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME for Oracle Fusion Cloud Procure-to-Pay , providing technical leadership across solution design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop technical solutions supporting the complete P2P lifecycle, including supplier management, requisitioning, purchasing, purchase orders, receiving, invoice processing, invoice matching, approvals, accounts payable, and payments
• Partner with functional SMEs and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate business processes into appropriate Oracle Fusion technical solutions.
• Design, build, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and internal or third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other Oracle integration technologies
• Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces, data conversions, extracts, and bulk data-loading processes using applicable Oracle technologies such as FBDI, ADFdi, REST/SOAP services, and scheduled processes
• Design and develop reports, extracts, and analytics using BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, SQL, and related reporting technologies
• Provide technical expertise for Oracle Fusion approval workflows, security, roles, privileges, and P2P-related application configurations
• Analyze existing customizations, integrations, and extensions and recommend opportunities to leverage standard Oracle Fusion functionality where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving integrations, data, workflows, reports, interfaces, security, and application processing.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions for recurring technical and data-related issues.
• Support Oracle Fusion quarterly updates by assessing technical impacts, coordinating regression testing, and resolving issues associated with new releases.
• Participate in solution architecture and technical design reviews and ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, integration, and development standards.
• Create and maintain technical design specifications, interface documentation, data mappings, process flows, deployment documentation, and operational support procedures.
• Support unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, including defect analysis and resolution.
• Mentor developers and other technical resources and provide guidance on Oracle Fusion Cloud development and integration best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts, risks, dependencies, and solution alternatives effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP technologies, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
• Strong technical expertise within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Fusion Procurement/Purchasing and Payables processes and their associated integrations and data flows.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and SOAP web services within an Oracle Fusion environment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion data-loading and interface technologies such as FBDI and ADFdi
• Strong experience developing reports and extracts using BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and SQL
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion data structures, scheduled processes, integration patterns, and application architecture.
• Experience troubleshooting complex Oracle Fusion integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, and data issues.
• Experience supporting the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of functional consultants, developers, architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, or large-scale transformation programs.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with third-party procurement, supplier, banking, tax, expense, or financial applications
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion security architecture , including roles, privileges, data access, and integration/service accounts.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other Oracle PaaS technologies.
• Experience supporting high-volume or complex enterprise P2P environments.
• Oracle Cloud certifications related to Procurement, Financials, Integration Cloud, or ERP are preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.

Key Technical Skills

Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP: Advanced expertise with Oracle Fusion architecture and technical capabilities, particularly Procurement and Financials.

Procure-to-Pay: Deep understanding of the end-to-end P2P lifecycle spanning suppliers, requisitions, purchasing, receiving, invoice processing, matching, accounts payable, approvals, and payments.

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting integrations.

Integration & Data Technologies: REST APIs, SOAP web services, FBDI, ADFdi, file-based interfaces, scheduled processes, and enterprise integration patterns. xhyhwjd
