About the Position

Job Title: RRT-NICU Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum two years required License: Valid RRT license required Certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS required Must-Have: Experience in PEDS, PICU, NICU (high level care level 4) Description: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS are required. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Candidates must have a valid RRT license in hand. Work will be conducted in RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients. Candidates may be required to float to nearby facilities. Shift options available are three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts. All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during submission and the interview process. Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes. The first fingerprinting is required onsite prior to the start of the contract. The second fingerprinting will be completed through the agency. All work history must be included in the application. All copies of required certifications must be provided at the time of submission. It is a smoke-free facility and candidates must be nicotine-free with no exceptions. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start. Candidates cannot return to the facility for one year from their previous end date. Background checks will be conducted and any hits will be reviewed. References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Only active certifications will be accepted, with nothing pending.
