Food Quality Control Technician

Position Food Quality Control Technician Location & Details San Antonio, Texas 78223 Industry: Food Manufacturing | Status: Full time / 40 Hours Weekly | Schedules Available: 7am-3:30pm and 11pm-7:30am Job Type & Compensation Full-time | Pay: $17.00 per hour | Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Responsibilities Conduct inspections of all food production areas Participate in maintaining sample retention library for frozen and refrigerated products Perform finished product weight checks and ATP swabbing Ensure proper storage procedures are followed (allergens, proper closure, etc) Monitor GMPs and use by dates Maintain records of temperature checks Conduct verification checks of labels on packaging lines to ensure that they are correct Comply and promote all company and safety policies and procedures Qualifications Experience in the food production / manufacturing industry preferred or food handling / cooking experience in a restaurant required Exposure to USDA food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus HACCP certification and/or ServSafe Training an asset Excellent attention to detail Ability to work on the production floor throughout shift Benefits 401(k) with company match Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Free parking Shift Availability Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location In person EEO Statement People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jones Networking
