This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield, OH office.****National Interstate’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‐office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.****Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities*** Processes and organizes claim file information for basic claims for one or more lines.* Handles moderately complex claims including claims with coverage questions or recovery potential.* Assists in identifying opportunities to streamline claims procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Job Requirements****Work Hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Friday**### **Education:** High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)### **Experience:** Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in claim operations or customer service.### **Scope of Job/Qualifications:** Develops knowledge of local, state, and federal insurance-related policies. Effective analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization. Working knowledge of claim data processing systems.
