Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance and facilities operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for driving both reactive and preventative maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.

The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance planning, team leadership, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital/project execution while ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in reducing downtime, improving machine availability, and supporting long-term operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the facility, including mechanical, electrical, and facilities infrastructure support.
• Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure timely completion of planned maintenance activities and effective response to equipment breakdowns.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling and resource allocation to maximize efficiency during planned downtime windows.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics including uptime, downtime, and mean time between failures (MTBF).
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment or operational issues.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, equipment upgrades, and improved maintenance practices.
• Support plant-wide operational and business initiatives by assessing maintenance impacts and resource requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team through coaching, accountability, and technical guidance.
• Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and development plans for team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Ensure proper staffing levels, technical skill development, and training programs are in place to support operational needs.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital expenditures, and cost control initiatives.
• Support and oversee maintenance-related projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Coordinate internal and external contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems and methodologies.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and plant safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS preferred).

Salary of $100,000 - $120,000 annually + 10% Bonus
