Accounting Clerk (Entry Level)Source Office & Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting, finance, or business operations. We are willing to train the right candidate and provide hands-on experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer account maintenance, and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor inboxes and phone lines; respond to inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer serviceManage and upload invoices to customer platforms such as Fieldglass, Ariba, Oracle, and OpenInvoiceCreate and review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with customer payment follow-upWork with customers and sales representatives to help resolve account questions and maintain accurate recordsAssist accounts payable, including entering vendor invoices and preparing scheduled paymentsComplete vendor setup documentation and credit reference requestsAssist with customer account maintenance and credit reviewsProcess account adjustments with accuracy and attention to detailCover cash posting duties as neededAssist with other accounting tasks and special projects as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree is a plus, but not requiredPrevious office, customer service, administrative, retail, banking, or accounting experience is helpful, but not requiredProficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, is preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to learn new systems and processesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethicCompensation$20-23 hourly rangeMonday thru Friday (onsite)8 hour shiftsAbout the CompanySource Office & Technology a division of TSRC, Inc., is a business-to-business distributor of office supplies, furniture, coffee and breakroom products, janitorial and cleaning supplies, promotional products, and technology solutions to customers seeking customized workplace solutions and personalized service.
